Respectful Relationships is a core component of the Victorian Curriculum from foundation right through to year 12, and is taught in all government and catholic schools, state-wide. It is an initiative to support schools to promote and model respect, positive attitudes and behaviours.
At NDPS we use the Department of Education’s Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships teaching and learning resource to guide us in teaching age appropriate and evidence-based lessons. This resource is broken into eight topics:
